WHERE
EVERY STAY
IS A STORY
We acknowledge the Gadigal people as the Traditional Owners of the land on which Park Hyatt Sydney sits today. We recognise their continuing connections with land, water and culture and extend our respect to Gadigal Elders, past, present and emerging. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander readers are advised that this site may contain images of deceased persons.
This is a tribute to the sandstone shores, ever-changing waterfront and the human stories that have shaped this remarkable site. As we uncovered its history, I was moved by the many lives that have passed through this place, each leaving a story woven into its history. From the Gadigal people to colonial traders, police officers and now our guests and associates. Park Hyatt Sydney is more than a hotel. It is a living chapter in the story of Sydney. With every stay, new memories are made. It is my hope that these pages honour the past, celebrate the present and inspire a deeper appreciation for the city we call home.

OUR STORIES
Anecdotes from long service associates
The dedication of our long-service associates is the foundation of our legacy and in the following pages, we share heartfelt anecdotes from our longstanding team members who have been with us through the past three decades. They have been shaping the essence of our hotel, making it not just a place to stay, but a home away from home for many.
